A message from your President

I say this every year - time seems to fly by quicker each year. It is spring already and it has arrived with a vengeance: all pollen sufferers know what I mean. This will be my last message as President to you, my term will end at the June meeting. I want to say it has been a privilege to be your president, I have met people I would otherwise have not and have gone places I normally would not visit. I hope I have served you well and I am proud to have served in this extraordinary organization. Sue Goodman-Franz will take over as president at the meeting in June. She has been affiliated with VSOMP for many years and no doubt will do a fantastic job. The annual spring meeting will be held on Friday June 22 - all day classes and Saturday June 23 - half day classes. Jenny Simmons, chairperson of the meeting has done a wonderful job of securing our speakers. We offer 11 group A credits from 11 speakers. The Sheraton National at Arlington is the venue. Registration information is included in this edition of the Envision. I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of the board members for your total support. I consider all of you friends and look forward to continuing our relationships.
