LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Hello Everyone:
I hope this letter finds all of you refreshed from summer vacations. We had
a great VSOMP meeting at Tyson’s Corner in June. Those who attended will
agree that all the speakers were very interesting. Gahan Fishburne from
Alcon got us off to a good start with a poolside Meet and Greet social that
Thursday night. Lisa Childers from Pfizer followed by helping with the cost
of our luncheon on Friday. Friday night, Steve Ainsworth and Jennifer
Gleason from Allergan treated us to a wonderful meal and lots of fun. Bonney
Bashore from Inspire finished our meeting out with help on some of the cost
for our Saturday’s breakfast buffet. Be sure and let these drug
representatives know you appreciate their support.
We have our fall meeting planned for October 18th at Stony Point Surgery
Center. It will include lectures and labs. More info under “Events”.
Nominations for board positions will be taken at the Fall meeting. If you
are interested and have any questions about serving on the board, please do
not hesitate to contact a board member.
